DENTAL HYGIENIST

THE JOB
We are looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist to join our modern, fast-growing dental
practice. Our ideal candidate should be licensed in the state of Florida, possess superb
communication and interpersonal skills, and is passionate about creating stunning, healthy
smiles — one patient at a time. We have an incredible work culture built around teamwork

YOUR DUTIES
- Reviewing and updating medical records
- Conducting initial mouth screenings and checking oral health history
- Collaborating with dental assistant to obtain necessary x-rays and images
- Preparing dental equipment and materials
- Periodontal charting
- Assisting dentist with treatment plant and charting existing plans
- Prophylaxis
- Sealant placement
- Educating patients on proper oral health practices
- Ensure patient comfort at all times
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene
- Florida Licensed Dental Hygienist
- 1+ years in a dental office preferred
- Current cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate
- Strong working knowledge in dental procedures, including sterilization and routine equipment care
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dentrix knowledge is a plus
- Strong patient and empathy
- Proficient computer skills, use of Microsoft Office, and ability to navigate multiple systems without assistance
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Salary from $28 to $35/hour based on experience.
